We design and supply a range of accessories that work in conjunction with Arens Ventilation Controllers.

Rain, Wind, Humidity and Temperature Sensors provide information to the relevant Arens Ventilation Controller to allow a greater degree of control of natural ventilation in the building or room.

The manual press button switch and keyed switch are used for occupant operation of electric chain winders or linear actuators that are mounted on high level windows of louvre galleries. They are commonly used in our most basic natural ventilation systems, which allow occupants to open and close automated windows as they desire.

Arens_Rain_Sensor

Rain Sensor

Automatically alerts the control system when rain is detected, by closing two voltage free contacts. This sensor also incorporates a heating unit that reduces false triggering from dew and assists drying of the sensor after rain has passed.

Requires a 24 VDC power supply.

Arens_Wind_Sensor

Wind Sensor

This simple but effective design houses a magnetic switch that registers each rotation of the spinning cups. The system counts the switch closures over a period of time to determine the current wind speed.

Arens_junction_box

Junction Box

Make wiring easier by bringing the wind, rain and external temperature sensors together in the Arens Junction Box. It is then possible to connect them to the chosen Arens Ventilation Controller using a single six-core or CAT 5/6 cable. The junction box will also indicate if the polarity of the power supply is correct via an LED.

Arens_Manual_Press_Button_Switch

Manual Press Button Switch

Designed for mounting in a range of elegant Clipsal Impress faceplates, the Manual Press Button Switch has direction arrows etched on each button. The Switches may signal the Arens relay module to open or close a window, manually operate an actuator directly (AC or DC), or send open and close signals to an Arens Smart Controller.

Keyed Switch

Manual open and close-keyed switch, with key removable when in the centre position. May operate Arens Relay Module to open and close a window or send signals to an Arens Smart Controller. The switch is mounted on a Clipsal 2000 series faceplate. Each switch is supplied with two keys.
