Arens MDCR Operator with Chainheads
The MDCR operator is a heavy duty remote window winder that is designed for occupants to manually operate high level windows. It is commonly used in a commercial setting, being particularly popular for its ability to operate multiple sashes from a single operator.
Building occupants can manually operate windows when they desire to allow natural ventilation to occur, exhausting warm and stale air from the room and replacing it with fresh air from outside.
It is ideal for use in high traffic and heavy duty applications, such as schools, due to its robust construction and long life span. It has very low maintenance requirements once installed and does not require any electricity so is very cost effective.
The MDCR can be surface mounted or concealed within the wall with a face cover plate and handle for operation. Capable of opening sashes over 1200mm wide when two chainheads are installed.
The MDCR is available in two sizes:
- The MDCR 212 gives an opening of 300 mm
- The MDCR 206 gives an opening of 150 mm
The MDCR operator and tubing are available in anotec silver grey, satin black and pearl white powdercoat – with other standard powdercoat colours available on request. The chainhead is made of an engineering grade polymer and is also available in black, white and light grey.
